A DT-3 in an Urban Search and Rescue Contest


The robot must enter a building in a disaster area. The team must generate a map of the damaged building and locate injured people. Human dummies are placed in the simulated disaster area, these dummies can have a heat source and a Carbon Dioxide emitter. The robot must use on board sensors to detect these dummies and determine if the 'person' is alive or dead.

The method used for scoring these events is outlined in the formula below:
