About Us ....
Tribotix was established in 2004
to introduce affordable robotic equipment to educational
institutions in Australia and New Zealand. Over that past 7 years we have had customers from all around the world and every major University in our region.
We are based in Newcastle, a 2 hour drive north of Sydney and in the centre of
the beautiful Hunter
Valley.
There are now two core area's of Tribotix's business, these are Research & Development and direct sales to the local robotic community.
Tribotix have developed both robotic and embedded systems, for both commercial and research projects. An example of our work is HyKim, a 21 DOF Robot Bear which was developed in partnership with the NUBots/Numanoids from University of Newcastle, Australia.
We are confident that the products we offer will encourage
the use of robotics in education and help develop an interest in Science, Engineering and IT.
